The compressor and fan are located in the outdoor unit, far away from the pool area and living spaces. The indoor hydraulic unit produces virtually no noise — perfect for relaxing by the pool, enjoying your garden, or running a quiet indoor pool facility. Because the outdoor unit is completely separate, it can be installed on the roof, on a wall bracket, or anywhere that suits your building. This makes split systems the ideal choice for hotels, wellness centres and residential homes where space at ground level is limited or where aesthetics matter. The indoor hydraulic unit fits neatly in any plant room or technical space.
All electrical components, the compressor and refrigerant connections are housed in the outdoor unit — completely out of reach in the pool hall or garden. The indoor unit contains only water connections, making the pool environment significantly safer for children. No high-voltage components, no hot surfaces, no refrigerant lines anywhere near the swimming area.
Microwell SIP split heat pumps are engineered to operate reliably down to -20 °C ambient temperature. The advanced inverter compressor and intelligent defrost cycle ensure efficient heating even in the harshest winter conditions. Indoor pools can be kept at the ideal temperature year-round without any backup heater — dramatically reducing operational costs throughout the season.
The refrigerant lines between the outdoor and indoor units can run up to 25 metres, giving installers and architects complete freedom in system design. The outdoor unit can be placed far from the pool hall, on the opposite side of the building or on the roof, without any loss of efficiency. This unique flexibility is simply not possible with standard monobloc pool heat pumps.
