After years of reliable performance and thousands of satisfied customers, Microwell is once again advancing its technology. In 2025, the all-year pool heat pumps of the GREEN INVERTER PRO (GIP) model series will be replaced by the innovative SILVER INVERTER PRO (SIP) range. So what does this new line bring that sets a new standard in comfort, energy efficiency, and design?
🌌 Improved Cold-Weather Operation
Thanks to a refined defrosting system, the new SIP range can operate in an even broader temperature range. Added insulation, enhanced direct refrigerant injection, new software, and more accurate frost detection ensure the unit can handle extreme conditions down to -20 °C. Strengthened defrosting coils enable faster and more effective frost removal.
🌬️ Quieter Operation
The SIP range delivers significantly reduced noise levels due to improved airflow management and acoustic insulation. While GIP models drew air from the back and expelled it to the front, SIP models still draw air from the back but now discharge it to the sides. This design provides greater comfort not only for pool users but also for the surrounding environment and neighbors.
🎨 Modern Look and Durability
Aesthetic upgrades come hand in hand with function. The powder-coated steel casing of the GIP models has been replaced by elegant brushed anodized aluminum, offering a modern appearance and better resistance to outdoor conditions. The aluminum is also lighter, which is particularly appreciated by installation technicians.
⚡️ Higher Efficiency, Lower Costs
SIP achieves significantly higher COP values, up to 24.2. This translates to more efficient operation and lower water heating costs. Thanks to upgraded components, SIP stands among the most energy-efficient solutions in its class.
🌐 Fully Future-Proof
The new pumps comply with the latest EU F-Gas Regulation No. 573/2024/EU. In 2025, they will be compatible with refrigerant R32, and from 2026 also with the eco-friendly R290, ensuring long-term sustainability and reduced environmental impact. Moreover, R290 will further enhance heating performance in cold winter conditions.
R32 will remain in use for SPLIT models from 15 kW and up until 2033.
